  • Ryan mixed my most recent original song and I am so happy with the outcome. I will be returning to him for more mixes and also once my body of work is ready to be mastered. He was really good about listening to my notes along the way and never made me feel like I was putting him out. Thankful for his dedication!

  • Ryan has a wonderfully creative brain and is very skilled and professional in his work. He has been in the business for a while so definitely knows what he is doing. He will work with you and your vision, making it come to life. Apart from being incredibly talented, he is a delight to be around and super easy to work with.

  • Ryan is great! We had a webseries that was in rough shape audio-wise and Ryan stepped in and saved the day. Total rockstar and wonderful to work with.

  • Ryan is my go to for mix/master. He seems to actually invest in a mix as if its his song which yields different results that i've had with other mixers. Balancing and doing something that is technically correct or shows up in meters to be comparatively good is useless to me and Ryan gets that too. He's fearlessly chasing after whatever sounds right

I think I'm old enough to call myself a bit of a veteran of the record making business.  My first studio job was mixing demos for college bands and student film projects out of my friend's mother's basement studio at the age of 17.  My friends took jabs at me for taking it so seriously and actually applying myself.  That was nearly 20 years ago.  I spent 4 years under the tutelage of producer/engineer/musician Jonathan Wilson( Father John Misty, Jackson Brown, Conor Oburst).  Since then I've continued to explore modern and vintage recording and mixing techniques while trying to tie them together.

I've been entrusted with upholding great sonic character and quality for many of the region's breakout Artists including Tim Brantley, The Films, The Futurists, The Booze, wWaylon, Verlaine, and The Constellations.

I've worked in a lot of great rooms, but since moving into my new studio in Smyrna Georgia I finally feel like what I'm hearing is exactly what is being delivered to the artist, producer, or label.  The room is very accurate, quiet, and comfortable.

My goals as an engineer are to: First, do no harm.  Second, give every instrument or sound it's own room to breathe.  Third, bring the sounds that tell the story to the attention of the listener.  And fourth, create a dynamic and lush sonic landscape.  I'm unrelenting in the pursuit of making every mix or master live up to my strict standards.  I'm passionate, I'm a workaholic, and I will do great work for you.
